i'm in college now majoring in information technology. i was wondering is it possible for me to find a job in my field that'll hire me, without any knowledge of information technology yet. in a week i'll start taking my core classes. what i'm trying to say is will some jobs hire me and be willing to teach me, while i'm in school?

What they will offer you is low paying work that is dead end, even for IT. And if you need the money, do it.

Most companies really want you to have a diploma before they consider hiring you. Have you considered a paid internship? That would get you some experience in the mean time (though the pay won't be great). But before you apply for that you should probably have completed at least 3/4 of your core curriculum. They won't want someone that has no knowledge at all of their field. It might be different if you already had experience in the field though.

at a lot of jobs there's a period called "training" when they teach you what you have to know to work there... however without any basic skills you won't be able to enter in a training :)
