Did your Minky fabric come with any labels or packing slips? That's how I found out how to get giant rolls of batting for a wholesale price. You would also have to make sure the fabric manufacturuer will allow you to sell blankets made from their fabric. Believe it or not, many fabric places don't want their designs on anything that people would have to pay for.
My website is ten bucks a year for my dot com name, and $7.50 a month for the hosting. I paid $70.00 for a web builder utility.
I started with a freebie website, ads and all, until enough money started coming in to justify the paid site. But it looks like you are already there.

Michael Miller sells great minky fabric & you can set up a wholesale account through them. The only thing is you have to buy 5 bolts for your first order (but the cost is 1/2 of what you pay in stores). After the first order, you can buy one bolt at a time. Email the address on the website & ask about wholesaling.

I don't know if you really want the answer, but it's right here in China. In fact, it's about one mile from where I happen to live. If I were you, I'd come here to buy your fabrics. (any large city has fabric for pennies on the dollar compared with what you're paying at Joann's) The wools, silks, cottons...are gorgeous. This is where I met a buyer for Joann's the other day, in fact. I wanted to underline the fact that: The fabrics here are the exact fabrics I have found at Britex, in San Francisco, where they have the best fabrics on the west coast, if not all of America.

Finding wholesale fabric isn't easy, you're right. If you live close to NYC or NJ you can go to the warehouses and get it but if you want to order online, here are some links:

http://www.fabricdirect.com/
http://www.fabricfindersinc.com/
Good luck!
