First you have to figure out what interests you. Then you'll most likely start at the bottom and have to work your way up. Work hard and prove yourself. A degree will get you farther faster but it can be done.

I was a self taught horticulturist and ended up making 40k in the end, not bad for no degree or experience.

Assuming that you have graduated High School, there should be many entry-level jobs that you could find which would give you experience and also help build up a resume.

Most libraries or museums would hire entry level applicants who don't have college degrees or experience. So would many non profit organizations. Research the web sites of local libraries or museums, and also look at the craigslist postings in the non-profit section.

You could also try being self employed; tutoring elementary or middle school (or even high school) students is a possibility. Entry level jobs in retail should not be difficult to find, and often it is possible to advance within the organization.

Finally, you can always gain very valuable experience if you can afford to take the pay cut and pursue an unpaid internship or be a volunteer.

Do you have a state or local job service? They usually have you list your skills and match you to jobs that would suit your interests and experience. The only way to get experience is time in the work force.

Those people could continue their educations at the community college--either for a transfer to a university--or one of their many direct-hire programs.

Those people could also start at an entry-level position in a company, and work their way up the ladder.

Check out Monster.com, CareerBuilders, Jobs.com, your local newspapers, employment agencies in your area, and the unemployment office (which usually has posting of jobs and qualifications necessary).

Good luck, hope that you find a good one...

If these people were smart they would get a job and a degree. the world market requires it if you want to go anywhere.

Anything that you want these days that will be fulfilling will require some form of training. The skilled trades is an excellent choice for people who are not academically inclined but are technically savvy.

Generic sales (car, sporting goods)
Telemarketer
Tax preparer. (not all people who do tax preparations at places like H&R Block are Accountants/CPAs or going to school for that)

You could start your own business.

Management such as in chain restaraunts or retail sotres require you to work at those places and move oyur way up. If you are over 25, you could look into one of those places that has a high management turnover rate, and work your way up though there.

Get on LinkedIn, and make a KICK *** profile. don't be afraid to tout your self and make your self sound impressive, your SOLE pastime right this moment's to sell your self. you ought to sell your self and make people have self assurance you will possibly deliver some thing to their corporation. you won't be able to doubt your self or your wisdom, you will possibly prefer to be a go getter and talk up. there is not any disgrace in chilly calling to get a job if classic procedures are not working. attempt LinkedIn, attempt chilly calling, attempt Craigs record, or perhaps perhaps placed up it on your facebook letting all people understand which you're actively finding for an threat.

Thats a really good question. I guess the only job is to do what you do best individually, like a carpenter for hire or cargo transport for hire or something like that. Get my drift?
