You should have a Delivery Confirmation number on your receipt-if that does say 'recieved', then it was scanned upon delivery of the package. If you are sure this person did not receive it-contact the closest P&DC in his area. Packages travel together in large metal boxes, and sometimes the friction, or lack of proper adhesive make the labels come off. Sometimes the boxes get torn apart completely. If there is no label, it's usually held at the P&DC Re-Wrap or BeatOut area, until a label is found for it. If the person in charge doesn't have any kind of defining evidence that the label goes to the package found, it will be held there until someone calls for it-if no one calls, after a while, it is shipped to Atlanta-the USPS Dead Letter center.

I would recommend going to the post office and requesting a copy of the Delivery Confirmation paperwork. It should include a signature of the person who received the package. That'll let you compare the handwriting with that of the person who supposedly received the package.

In all likelihood, the person who's telling you he never got the package did actually get the package. Hopefully, when faced with the evidence of the signature, he'll cough up your package.

It could have been delivered to the wrong person. Contact the post office where you mailed it from and see what they have to say. This happened to me and the package was sitting at my neighbors house while they were on vacation.

If it was a confirmation delivery go to UPS or your Post Office (who ever delivered it) and see who signed for it.......It has to have a signature on it in order to be delivered........The signature should be on the confirmation tag.......

somebody probably stole it. If you got it insured u can get your money back from the shipping and items in it. U.S. postal service usually requires a 15 to 20 day period before they can report it lost or stolen
