This is weird to me. If I go onto yahoo & search for something (like vitamins or dog illness), I'll get a lot of emails sent to me from unknown sources that are related to the topics. How can I tell if my computer has been compromised in some way? I do have spybot which comes up with nothing. This is my work PC so I am firewalled. It started happening a few weeks ago.

have you updates spybot and run the scans? Also what makes you believe you are "firewalled".... just because it is a work computer does not mean the firewall is correctly enabled/setup.

Update Spybot and try running another scan. download hijackthis and run a scan... save the logfile and post it to castlescops.com for additional help cleaning.. (or you can email it to me and i iwill look it over.)
