Ok, not meaning to sound disgusting but this is the prob:
Im almost 10 weeks pregnant (had a scan last week at 9 weeks which showed everythings good) Whe I was showering today I noticed a hard pea-size lump of white stuff (feels jelly-like) coming out of me. It's still inside as I didn't want to pull it out. I'm scared cos when I previously had a miscarriage this is the kinda stuff that came out (but red) I've no bleeding or cramping, just a little concerned what it is. Anyone had anything similar?? Thanks

I've an appointment with my doctor tomorrow. Since I'm so nervous tonight just thought I'd try to get a lil bit of reassurance and views on here

Hey Sweetie,

I won't stress out tonight. You have a appointment tomorrow...it is probably nothing. It sounds more like normal discharge to me than your mucus plug. Discharge does change a lot during pregnancy so for now I would just not panic.

Another idea is to call the Labor & Delivery (where your doctor deliverers the babies) they always answer they are open 24/7 call them and see what they think. Describe what is going on and that you have a appointment tomorrow but you can't relax. They can determine if you should be seen now or if tomorrow will be fine. That would probably be the best thing...for your own piece of mind since you are worried that you will loose this baby because of past experiences. Hope you feel better soon. Good luck & God Bless.

It sounds like what they call the mucus plug. If your only ten weeks along you shouldn't be losing this yet. It usually comes out during the last month of pregnancy. I don't think that means anythings wrong, but to make sure I would call a OB/GYN. They know all about this stuff. Also while some women are pregnant they have more or a heavier discharge. You need to call a Doc. to make sure. Good Luck.

It sounds like a yeast infection, they're very common during pregnancy. Just watch out for a change in color, or blood, and cramping. It isn't unusual to have discharge and hormone changes can change the thickness of it so it is probably nothing just keep an eye out, and make sure to talk to your doctor tomorrow when you go and he will be able to tell you what it is. Good Luck

it's sound like you have a yeast infection it's common in pregnant women you can have it and not have the regular symptoms like itching burning and so on but if your concerned call your dr or go to the e.r. since you have had a miscarriage you are right to be concerned even if it is a simple yeast infection you need a diagnosis so you can seek treatment good luck

It sounds like it could be the beginning stages of a miscarriage. ...I know what you are going through. Get in to that doctor so that you can be put at ease as to what is happening. Good luck.

Im not sure, but with your history of miscarriage I would suggest you call you OB and ask them.

It could just be discharge which is increased and very normal during pregnancy.

Its better safe than sorry. Good Luck.

you should call the Dr, especially if you have a hx of miscarriage, better to be safe then sorry. It might just be some discharge but you should get the Dr. opinion.
Good luck, and God bless!

never heard of that before, go to the doctor's. You need to address any complication as soon as possible or it could be dangerous for you and the baby. I can imagine how scary it must be, but you know what you have to do.

I would call your doc immediately and get in to see him today. It may be nothing, just sound fluid that got sticky (like how rubber cement gets sticky when it dries), but since its still inside... I would get a professionals advice ASAP.
