We did this in school and I was wondering what people's thoughts were... And do you think it's only a dream? I don't really know what it means since I haven't lived in America for 3 years.

For me The "American Dream" has turned into a nightmare with Bush as President!

It presently means - that I can not buy a lot of things I used to buy because the prices of everything has gone up and out of sight as a result of the Big Oil Companies raising the gas prices as a Political Payback for contributing to the Bush campaigns!

to me personally it means to get through school, pay off bills(yet i have not many right now!!!!!), take care of my family, and then have some fun when i get old enough to have grandchildren(mind you i'm only 20yrs. old!!!!!and i still have no children, which i am fine with that for now!!!!!)
i just want to be successful and not live in a fantasy!!!!
