I have been a temp at the company for 2 months awaiting to see of the old receptionist came back from the hospital. She didnt. Instead of posting the job and interviewing, like they should they hired me! I am thrilled, how do I formally but nicelt thank them. Any creative ideas?

Also I wanted to bring something for my co-workers and put it in my front desk any ideas (ex: cookies, brownies) Nothing too big! Besides candy, the office provides that already!

I would address a thank you note to both of the people you mention, thank them for the confidence they have in you and assure them of your desire to be successful in your job.

Maybe bring mini muffins, or bagels to work?

The best is probably a short thank-you note written on white paper and delivered to your boss's office and HR. As for co-workers, your idea of cookies etc. sounds great. Just make sure they know it is for them from you.

Kind regards,

I worked in HR for several years, so being politically correct, a simple thank you is the best/safest way to go. Just take time on your break or lunch and go into their office and say "You have a minute? I just really wanted to thank you for considering me for the job. I really like everyone here. I just wanted to personally thank you"

Candy is always good!!

HOW ABOUT A SIMPLE THANK YOU CARD OR A PERSONAL THANK YOU AND A HAND SHAKE
