How can a person truly think that abortion is an okay answer to an unplanned pregnancy? I just don't understand. How can you not see it as murder? I see so many people on here talking about the poor pitiful people who are killed in abortion clinic bombings, and granted that is completely the wrong and most stupid thing I've ever heard of as a solution to stop abortion but at the same time so many feel sorry for the clinic workers and mothers who are there to....oh yeah kill children. Humm that is ironic. Not that anyone deserves death as punishment but the 50 or 60 or even if it's as many as 500 people who have died in abortion clinic bombings doesn't even compare to the hundreds of thousands of babies that are killed each year. It's a human life if you don't see that you are just selfish and you want an easy answer to your inability to plan for a pregnancy if you opened your legs or opened someones legs then you need to ready for the baby that's going to be on the way!

I guess my main question is, is it our right to decide who lives and dies, I mean should a person die because they are an added expense, or because they are mentally handicapped or even because they have a pissy attitude like Jim Valentino here or whatever I just don't see how we can say it's our right to choose when someone dies whether born or unborn because of convience or because of a disability or because they are from another man or whatever, it's just not our decision to kill and I think like starts at conception the cells that make up the baby at conception are alive and so therefore it is a life.

It's not. It's a convenience for the most part.

It seems like more good could be done by using the over $1 Billion dollars a year-yup, your tax dollars at work for abstinence only education. We pay people with no credentials not to teach birth control but 35% in public schools now receive abstinence only talks. Does anyone really believe that's a good idea? Pregnant women can be laid off or fired, that's the law. And the statistics say the incidence of firing pregnant women had risen drastically. Around 50% of those required by court order to pay child support don't pay any! Other countries offer maternity leave(the US doesn't "mandate" it while saying we're encouraging family values?). Any government help is discouraged & yes, shameful in this country. Just keep your legs closed? Great plan.
What if the kids who have already been born held some priority for us. What if no 12 year olds died from an impacted tooth in the US? (In Maryland) Do you care about him?

I don't think MOST people are pro-abortion, they are pro-choice which is different. I don't think it's right, and I do think that cases of rape and life and death and such are acceptable. It shouldn't be used as a form of birth control, but the issue is, different people consider when life starts different times. I think if the baby can live on it's own without the mother (has a chance i mean which is 21 or 23 weeks) is should be out lawed, but you can't say that it can't happen. It is a woman's right to choose. There should be limitations and most people don't think it's moral or even right. It's just what it is.

I think it's selfish no matter what but I can only see it justified if the girl was raped, or the baby will die in the womb anyways. Not all abortions are because people were having crazy sex one night and forgot to use a condom and to say that in cases like a 14 year rape victim needs to have a baby can not always be justified either. Again, I know that not everyone has abortions for those reason but I think it is important to point out the grey areas.

I don't think it can be defined in terms like right and wrong. It is certainly wrong, but is also at times necessary. Unfortunately, or fortunately, the world is not black and white.
Just as war is wrong but sometimes necessary. What is humorous to no end is the same people who support abortion typically are anti-death penalty and war. It is the height of hypocrisy.
Let it be said I support our abortion laws as I support the death penalty and in many cases war.

It's the same people who want this war to be convenience. When was the last time an abortion clinic was blown up. I have not heard of one in quite sometime. Do they not make the news, or is this old news period.

Yes, abortion is murder. Yet, it is a choice of the pregnant woman to decide whether or not she will raise, take care of, buy for, love, and nurture the fetus in her womb for the rest of it's life. What about victims of rape, who become pregnant? What about children who become pregnant? It inevitably would never be a easy choice for a woman to make to decide to abort a fetus, let the rest of us not judge the rightness of it for the individual. God Bless, Martha S.

Children having children is a better option??
Single mothers having to sell themselves to provide food for an unplanned child??
Why don't you have an unplanned child......see how tough it is to raise a child.
Your life will never be the same!!

i think of we ought to consistently supply a great gamble for infant to be born. Human and animals alike.. nature have the thank you to regulate them (exceedingly for animals). i've got not got a puppy atm, yet there are a team of stray cats in my complicated that help to regulate the rat inhabitants (and lizard, they each and every each and every now and then consume them).

No one cares about your opinion. Have an unplanned pregnancy first and then rant about abortion.

It can't ever be right thing to do.
Talk to those who have had abortions. They are relieved at first but then live knowing they killed their baby it becomes....
A lifetime heartache.
