i'd like to get as many people to answer this question as possible. hopefully they would change this policy of allowing accuser-who do so simply because they don't like your opinion-yahoo should elimate the option of "does not allow contacts or emails"
if your gonna accuse someone one should be allowed to confront that person on it.
do you agree or not?
basic questions get deleted..but racist and politically irrelevant questions often never die.
i don't know is yahoo racist?
i know i know..this question will be deleted any mintue now.

Nah, it would just encourage people to harass you more.
If someone gets offended by a comment or question it will not get resolved by having a personal e-mail address. The trouble will just escalate and it will turn into harassment. The rule stands in place for a good reason because people get web rage and just won't let things die.
If someone bumps your question or comment it just means half the time they are sore about it. They could not think of anything to counter and so they just took you out with the only means given. Its not worth your time to confront them and in the long run you will not waste time trying to talk to them.
Yahoo couldn't handle the lawsuits if kids got angry death threats from people. The option of animosity allows Yahoo to take a cheap and often unfair road out of things while still making the forum available.

i agree they should have to confront the person they violated especially if they are doing it for no reason but to harass someone. i think a lot less people would do that if they knew they were going to be gone off on everytime they falsy report someone. good luck.

It doesn't bother me one way or another. If someone finds my questions objectionable, then I guess it's OK.
Allowing people to "answer" for an allegation might promote sniping from the "asker" of the question.

I agree with you! And don't accuse someone of "not giving a question or answer." I've been reported for that twice and i am sick of it.

What they should do is make it available for everybody to see who reported someone for what. This way if the violation is ridiculous, we can all get on that person's case.
