No all homes in Florida do not need flood insurance.
This is determined in what fllod zone your home falls in according to the FEMA MAP.Also your insurance agent will determined this by your elevation certificate .Without this certicate your gent can not deternine your need or price for flood insurance.
I f you live by Florida's Coastline you will need Fllod Insurance, however if you live inland there will be areasthat will need Flood Insurance and other areas that will not.
It is all based on your elevation certificate and the Fema map.
Make sure your Fema map used to deternine this need is the most recent one. Also if your agent needs a copy of your apprisal for the property this will show if your property is in a flood zone.

It's always a good idea, but whether you need it or not depends on where you live and your elevation. Check out the national flood insurance program website, they have maps.

No. Only if the home is in a designated flood zone. Flood zones are determined by FEMA.

Not all need flood insurance. But I'd expect all would need wind/hurricane insurance? Maybe not as you get further north?
