Yes but I could understand that a little better than using it for birth control. A person that is raped did not have a choice in the matter but by aborting IMO there still is a murder taking place. The reason we can't all agree on this issue is that many people don't see it as murder and even though I don't understand how they could see it any other way that is the truth to them. If an abortion was done to prevent the mothers death during pregnancy I would not feel it to be wrong because it is taking one life so that one may live. That to me would be like separating conjoined twins (save on at the cost of the other) where both would die young without intervention.
Unlike what Super Ruper said I don't take the babies life to be more valuable than the mothers if it is necessary for one to die. The babies right to live over the mothers right to fornicate I do believe in.

I'm sorry but the answer is yes. I am not 100% Pro on this just because of that. I do not believe in Abortion. But I don't think a 15 year old or any age at that matter should have to raise a ba**ters child. Most people who are Pro also have never been in this situation. you will see 70% are Christians then 25% are not. Then the last 5% have been in that situation. All you need to think about is yourself, and what God may think. It is not in any ones right mind to judge you or whoever it maybe for what they do. Only God will Decide. I think if you pray to him and talk to him he will tell you what he thinks with your consience. I was Raped but I got so lucky not to be pregnant. But this has never crossed my mind twice to. IF this was the case with you or a friend. you can always seek help. Get Dr. opinions. People will tell you to have the baby and give it up to adoption. But trust me after you have that baby you wont want to give it up for anyone. Even though it was something horrible you had to experience to receive that gift of life.

yes, it is totally inexcusable. That child had no part in the rape. When most women find out they are pregnant, they are already about 6 to 8 weeks pregnant. when a fetus is 25 days old, its tiny heart starts to beat, by the end of the first month, it has lungs forming, a heart beat, and a spinal cord. which means that it feels pain. In my eyes, and Gods eyes, it is a human being, put here for a reason. In my eyes, we dint have the right to make that decision, it is Gods right alone. If he doesn't want that child he would not put the woman in the path of a rapist. Rely on God, and do everything through him. I promise you wont regret it. when life seems out of line, know that God will only put us through, what he knows we can handle. God has a purpose for all, even that tiny little fetus has a meaning to be on this earth.

Even my very conservative faith makes allowances for rape or incest. It is a matter of personal decision and counseling whether the mother can handle a situation that she did not bring on by any choice of her own. Will she always resent the child because it reminds her of what happened? Does she have the faith to carry on despite the unexpected circumstances? She has to decide in those situations, but she should do so quickly.

Of course not. I believe it is up to the woman in the case of: Rape, Incest, Statutory Rape, Severely Mentally or Physically Disabled Child, or Physical Health of the Mother.

Now hopefully she will seek guidance and counsel of those she trusts to help her through such a difficult and painful time.

Edit: Super Ruper is wrong. I am pro-life, against abortion on demand, but these exceptions I listed are important and can VERY easily be legislated. Super Ruper is attempting to pull the old LIEberal trick where he or she will tell everyone what 'pro-lifers' are really about; forcing people to their will. Indeed, there is no legal problem with a person who murders a pregnant woman to get tagged with two murders, especially if the fetus is viable and she planning to carey the child to term.

Nonsense! Outrageous! LIEberal's Lies never cease to amaze me.

If truly pro-life...there should be no excuse for an abortion. In choosing to criminalize abortion, prolifers are putting the rights of a fetus above the rights of a woman. And there can be no 'what ifs' in setting legal policy.

By the way, I am a pro-choice responder...but I do believe that if the laws are made, they must be absolute.

The difference is that some of us look at the embryo as part of us too. We can't speak for rape or health issues that would be an individual issue.

i think that anyone that has an abortion should be sterilized at the same time to prevent them conceiving and then murdering another human being.i know there are extenuating circumstances at times but it is not the unborn childs fault .

Why sentence a child to death for it's father's crime when we don't execute the father?

Just how often does this happen, compared to how often the argument is raised? Rapists are no more fertile than other men. Could we please just agree not make political rhetoric out of something as traumatic as rape?
