Why don't people hardly ever post links? Five billions is cheap for an Army. You can get one of those super duper aircraft carriers for five billion. It's ironic that Iraq will probably have a better standing Army than us.

Yes taxes. Those same taxes go to many social programs that a I do not agree with!

I've always wondered how the same people can both complain about the cost of the war and how the U.S. is only in the war to boost our economy....

That total is 38/1000ths of 1% of our GDP, that sounds like alot of money to you an me, but in whole picture it isn't much.

Eventually , higher taxes for us and our children and grandchildren .
But Bush will be long gone and we'll blame some other guy for it .
