Yes I remember that! I was really into that story. I watched it live on CNN! Elian had to go back to Cuba with his father and stemother! What a shame!! He was better off in Miami with his relatives than being with a bunch of communists! As soon as he left on the plane, we never heard or saw him again! Maybe someday when he's old enough, he will return to the states!!

That's so funny...I just thought about that kid the other day...his family here wanted to keep him in the USA, but the governments got involved & his father wanted him back in Cuba, so they returned him. So sad. That was at least 10 years ago, I think.

they just did a segment on him for 60 min or one of those shows - within the last year. he's living in cuba - with his family - seems to be a normal school kid. at least that's what they showed. castro used him for propoganda when he first returned. doesn't look worse for the wear.

so a procedures as i know, he's in Cuba at the same time with his father and stepmother. i'm satisfied he's not at the same time with his egocentric relatives in the U. S. and back at the same time with his father. i might want to no longer have self assurance his relatives had to save him from his father. the finished problem at the same time as it befell basically disgusted me. Thank goodness he's back the position he belongs, at the same time with his organic and organic father.
