I was at John F Kennedy Space Center about a week or so ago and i was going through a security checkpoint there and they made us push the number 5 on our cellphone and i was wandering if there was something big about pushing the number 5.

well sorry to say i don't have an answer for that. I just wanted to say that i've never heard that in my life. The funny thing is, my job in the air force has to do with communication and this is new to me. I have just sent an email to them so hopefully they will be able to get back with me on the subject.

Maybe they just pick random numbers for people to push to double check that your phone isn't a bomb. Who knows why our government does what it does?!
