I think that on the wedding day Alexander changes his mind.
He tells Davy that he likes Carmel and would rather be with her but Davy beats him up and says he has to marry Jackie.
Warren finds out after he sleeps with Mercedes and then he beats up Davy.
In the end the wedding is cancelled and Carmel and Alexander share a kiss

She definately does like him, and I think the feeling is mutual.

I think carmel really really likes alexander! even my 8 year old said carmel likes him and jacquie dosen`t lol

You can just tell that is going to happen.They seem to have some genuine affection towards each other.I hope they do.Then its obvious that jacqui and tony are going to get back together.

i hope you're right.... jackie belongs to tony, even if he is a saddo... love will conquer all!!! i love it, as you say easy watching... by far better than eastenders which has the weirdest storylines by far.
