I think ultimately the BSA are responsible, however, rescue services are WHY we pay taxes. So they will be there when we need them. What's your opinion?

I would like to say that iam a eagle scout this a upset for the BSA . I would like to see that the boy scout leader needs to be the one to pay for all the expense of the little boy scout and not make him a leader anymore. If you like feel free to email me back at dvd_cockrill@yahoo.com

I examine that article too. Wasn't it featured the former day? No, wait, it is featured on the instant... I merely looked at it "final evening" whilst it would already replaced to the following day. besides... they seem to be a private company and can limit club especially plenty inspite of the undeniable fact that they choose, yet you're suitable, in the event that they're receiving government sponsorship and proceed their discriminatory practices regardless, that does make the placement especially "sticky". they're "allowed" to discriminate like they do, yet that doesn't propose I ought to like it or help them in any way. there is not any shame or inferiority in being an atheist, an agnostic or a gay. The BSA won't in any respect have my help.

I think the one who ask the question should get the bill.

It was the BSA training that keep the boy alive so that accounts for something.

Not tryin to sound like a total turd, but i think the boy's parents should have to pay for it. I mean he's in the boy scouts....shouldn't he have known not to wander off like that? And of course the boy's parents should make him pay them back when he's older...lesson learned.

I pay plenty of taxes and have no children. I have NO problem spending my tax money to find him.
If the government would just help ME with benefits ( but I don't qualify since i DON"T have children) But that;s another issue.

If you make BSA pay for this rescue operation then you
are going to have to make everyone else pay for their
own rescue operations....And that is not going to work...

I wouldn't make the boy scouts pay the bill. I would hand that bill to the one that was supposed to be watching them to keep things like this from happening!
