my mum and nan chipped in and helped me buy a house. it's a 2 bedroom semi with a big garden and I love it. My dream home would be like the one on birds of a feather with a big heated indoor pool. but that's never going to happen, I consider myself damn lucky to own a home at all in the UK!!

My dream home doesn't exist. I've never seen a home (in a brochure, or TV program, or in person) that matched everything I wanted.
So, for me to get my dream home, I'd have to be able to buy some land in my dream location, and build it myself. Which means it's probably decades away.....
