i think shaun wright-phillips is a little better than aaron lennon. the reason why people like aaron lennon is because he is younger, but football wise phillips is better.

Must take a step back and not go with flavour of the month. If there's a bigger defect in English football reporting and analysis I don't know what it is.
During and after World Cup Ronaldo was treated like a child killer by our press and supporters - wrongly.
Now he's probably the best player in the world - no he's not!
Lennon hasn't had the disappointment(s) Wright-Phillips has had; wait till he has the inevitable bad spell and see how he reacts.
Can't we just rejoice a little that we have two really good creative attackers. I don't go along with those who triumphantly knock Shaun for going to Chelsea; he was faithful to City for as long as possible, but Mourinho deserves criticism for not giving him a chance, as he tends to do with many others. Shaun at City was a little more all-round than Lennon, and is now getting just a little of the luck he deserves, and will give England options.
Both are rare talents.
Remember the number of caps given to Phil Neville and Butch Wilkins among others.

At Manchester City, my team, he became a legend at the age of 23, but he was not ready for Chelsea and was tempted over to the dark side by the money, as was the City manager: £21 million! At Chelsea, he has not been getting enough matches, and Lennon is now generally regarded as the better player, although I personally think that if Mourinho had still played 4-3-3 when Cole and Robben got injured, Shaun would have got more games and would now be in international form.

Both players have good attributes and will go on to become fantastic players however my personal opinion is that of the 2 shaun is the better player. he doesnt have the same speed as lennon but ball control, vision, passin and shooting i believe he has more aswell as this hes much physically stronger. wright-phillips a better all round player.

lennon definatly
more skills, faster and also more good looking.
Shaun Wright-Phillips was just lucky about his goal against spurs but lennon always has better chances of getting goals in games!!

Lennon, best winger in the Prem besides Ronaldo, give him some time and he'll be even better than him.
