As a high school junior i focus on the basic things that i think can help get me into law school. Like the History coarses, geography and gonvernmental coarses. Everything else i just don't care about i make A's anyway.

All I learned was to skip school & party; it has prepared me well as a Sous Chef, minus missing work. Also; it has given me a view of all the BS that they try to enforce there Liberal views upon our youth. I have traveled Globally & really learned about life; I just got back too the States from 3yrs over in New Zealand. We actually could learn a thing or two from our Australasia community on Health care & a few other things. High School was all about interacting with and adapting too all the different groups and being accepted for who you were. I personally was put into a catagory of Surfer/Burnout & that was fine, but I had a 2.8 GPA untill I realized that life was for living in the MOMENT!! I have been really dissillusioned by the whole school thing.

The point of it all wasn't to learn the subjects (although you should) the point of high school was to teach you to learn HOW to learn.
People say that "the subjects are useless and boring". High school prepares you for the real world when the job you work at will be filled with boring, useless and uninteresting tasks.

Its not to teach you how to learn, or else we'd have a lot more knowledgable people in the world.
Its not to teach you how to accomplish something by sticking to it because you have to attend, you've got no choice. And for most people there isn't any challenge completing it.
What it is, is to teach social conventions so we can learn to get along and behave appropriately in our adult life. Socialization, thats why its so strickly ordered, thats why you intone the pledge every day and thats why there are so many clubs to join. Its "Imaginary Life", with only a small knowledge instuction subcomponent.
