Cos then Rangers fans will want Blue Nose Day. And then it'll probably all end in Bloody Nose Day.

it would get confused with st Patrick's day as the dates are so close.
green is seen as an illness colour.
red is used for emergency and Charity's like the red cross so symbolism.
red is a bright colour that can be seen for miles away.
red draw the human eye to look at it.

because red noses are associated with clowns and clowns are meant to be funny whats funny in a green nose
