At my work, we use stickers to label cassettes.

However, we reuse those cassettes, and everytime that happens, someone has to take a knife and scrape the sticker off.

Is there any easier way to do it?? I know they have liquids out there that remove stickers, but:

1) We do SO many cassettes, I'm afraid it wouldn't be cost effective
2) I wouldn't want the liquid to damage the recordings on the tapes

any ideas?

Peel the sticker off as best you can. Then use a piece of tape, packing tape, scotch, whatever you've got handy. Rub the tape onto the goo, then peel off the tape. The goo will stick to the tape.

I was going to suggest Goo Gone but it is a liquid. I truly think it will work. If you use a small amount. Maybe try it on an old tape and see if it works for you. A little goes a long way.

yes put the new sticker over the old one also why not erase whatever it is you wrote in the first place or use a number code as to what the cassete is numbers will take up little space and you can check the number to a glossary for detail on what it is

Try steamy hot water, as hot as you can safely
handle, use a small cloth,( face-cloth ) + a pinch of
vinegar, dab the glue spot, let it Soak in for say 2 - 3
minits, then whipe off ! You will be able to scrape the
paper bits off with your finger-nail. You may need to do
this,several times.

Just put a little goo gone on a sponge brush. The sponge brush helps apply the goo gone better so that it won't damage the casette.
