i was curious does when you conceive have anything to do with the gender of your child?

It all depends, I conceived both my kids the same time of the month during ovulation and I had a boy and a girl.Well they are 2 and a half years apart.

If you look at an Ancient Chinese Birth chart it will tell you that the month you conceive and your age will help determine your baby's gender. It was correct on my children and my friend used it to conceive a boy. It has been correct in predicting the gender of a lot of my friend's babies.
However, they only have a 50/50 shot, so it could be wrong about hald of the time! But it's still fun to check...

That's a gender prediction calculator. It doesn't always work. But it did for my first pregnancy - a boy. And I tried for a girl this time(20 weeks along, halfway to knowing if I'm right or not.)
When I was pregnant last time, I attended a pregnancy group of about 25 women. Only two were wrong out of us all..so I think those are pretty good odds.
My OB had planned his three kids through the same sort of planning.

Well kinda.....the fathers sperm is ultimately the determining factor but if you were to have sex the day of ovulation chances are better of having a boy...and if you have sex just prior(like a couple of days)to ovulation chances are greater of having a girl. The reasoning is male sperm swim faster but die quicker whereas female sperm swim slower but live longer.

Depends on what you read. I say no. But a little bit of research shows slight correlations. But I wouldn't bank on it.
