I'm 24 and for the past 2 weeks my breast have been extremely sore. I don't take birth control and I'm not taking any medications, what could be causing this soreness and what can I do to relieve the pain? I've done a self breast exam and I don't feel any lumps or knots. I've tried taking over the counter pain relievers and nothing is working. HELP!!! I don't know what to do.

Your b/f tied them too tight?
Is it the mammary portion or the muscle under it?
My wife's get sore about 10 days before her period up till the 2nd day of.
Are you working out or doing heavy lifting?
Anything different in the way you are using your upper body?
Any over the counter pain reliever should help with the pain.

Is it possible that you may be pregnant? Sore breasts are often the giveaway.
Sometimes these buggers will hurt for no apparent reason other than to torture us. You could try taking a warm shower, that seems to help, or you can try Salmon Oil capsules, these are a great anti-inflammatory. If the pain persists or gets worse, then I would see a doctor about a possible blockage.
Good Luck, and i hope you feel better soon.

Being fixed isn't necessarily a form of birth Control do to the fact that many many men are quote unquote "FIXED" but are also called DAD..... catch my drift?
Your breasts are not growing because your done growing by the time you are 19......so thats not an option, and you say your not pregnant and your period is not coming soon, so I bet your body is ovulating. When you ovulate, you body releases hormones and may it released too much and it caused your breasts to be sore. If this continues, you should talk to your doctor.

Fibrocystic Breasts or Breast Pain can be a symptom of low progesterone. This usually happens in women as they get to their mid thirties but it can certainly happen earlier. Take a look at healthquest.peoplesway.com and look at PRO HM, also Protec as it is an anti oxidant and anti inflammatory, plus cleanses body internally. There are some short videos at youtube.com if you search peoplesway. ProHM is an all natural bio-identical progesterone and may guard against breast cancer, unlike synthetic progesterone which can cause breast cancer.

Have your ruled out pregnancy???? Hormonal changes will also make your breast tender even if you are not pregnant or on your period. If it's getting close to that time then it would also explain the tenderness. If you are overly concerned talk with your doctor.

caffiene can cause breasts to be sore! dont get yourself worked up, it could just be that youve drank too many cokes in the past couple weeks, or too much coffee, tea, chocolate.. and so on!

Maybe you have a hormone imbalance or you're pregnant or they are growing.
Also, breasts can definitely grow after 19. Mine did. (A whole cup size)
