We have been together for a year and a half and he tells me he loves and takes care of me but I pay half of the rent.

First, tell your fiance that no more bedroom stories leave the house or no more sex until he realizes that a personal act should be just that..............personal. Second, set a date and tell him to be there for the wedding. If he doens't show or want the date moved again, tell him to hit the road because he isn't worth your time or effort.

By revealing a most intimate matter, even to a best friend about the woman he so-called loves and respects, indicates he is no where near ready for marriage. If your second "clue" is his pushing back the wedding date, I would cancel it altogether and consider whether I should stay in this relationship or not. Trust is a major issue he has most assuredly violated, WHY would you want to spend your life with a guy like this?

It depends on the "sex act". Clearly people know you are having sex so what are you embarrassed about? Your bigger issue is that he keeps moving the wedding date back. That is a sure sign that he isn't 100% committed to you.
You should set a "drop dead" date and tell him it's then or never. His reaction will tell you all you need to know!

How do you know he told his friend about it? If your "unsure" fiance' told you, what was his reason for letting you know he compromised the privacy of your relationship? It sounds to me like he doesn't place much value on ANYTHING...including YOU. I'm not trying to be cold...but I am trying to be honest in what I think is going on because you are the one being emotionally abused in this scenario and I'm trying to help YOU. Get out...now. It only gets worse after marriage....trust me.

well you need to understand all men are scared of commitment at a young age not like us women, us women dream about getting married starting from a young age but men think about sex from a young age, that's just the difference between men and women, give him time it will happen when he is ready and you trying to pressure him just makes things worse (not saying you are trying to pressure) but the thing about this sex act you two committed don't be embarrassed about what you did and how the friend knows because he wouldn't have bragged about it if it wasn't good! again it goes back to the difference between men and women men talk about sex and women just don't!

Who cares that he told his friend??? Haven't you ever told one of your friends about you having sex??? I would be more concerned about the fact that you are convinced that he's unsure. If you are convinced that he is "unsure", maybe you should be the bigger person & step back to re-evaluate your relationship.

Why do you care what he told his friend? Men talk about sex but not like women do! What is the man unsure about? mayying you? marriage is a huge life change, most people are scared and unsure in some form.

sounds like you need to move on . find yourself another man who is sure he is wanting to be with you. if you are wanting to stay with this one don't act any different around the friend if they are ripping on you laugh it up with them .if that is the cast let me tell you that would be the last time anything happened in " my " bed with that jerk!
