i mean girls who actually like being pregnant at a young age. i think theyre just bored so they think "hey, ill have a baby so my days arent so boring!" do you think this is a good theory?

Because they're are looking for something that they won't find in a boyfriend/sex/baby. Take your pick of the three. I used to work with pregnant and parenting teens and half of them wanted to be pregnant, thinking that would keep their boyfriend around. Quite a few them were also high or drunk when they got pregnant. Personally, I think it's become rather accepted among certain groups of teens. Too bad their parents always come and save their butts (watching the baby so that mom can go out, taking care of the baby during school, etc.) There's no responsibility on the parts of these teens. I even had one girls excited when she found out the money she was going to get from public assistance. She hadn't figured in the costs of of baby clothes, diapers, wipes, etc. You know, the things that public assistance doesn't cover.

Its a bad theory however, often girls who get pregnant and like the "feeling" are those who feel lonely and underestimated. They hope that the baby will give them a shot at uncoditional love...both incoming and outgoing....its a understandable theory but not a very good one. There are many responsibilities that are attached to that of being pregnant and having/ taking care of a baby.

It stems from lack of parenting. Unfortunately it seems like the parents are busy non stop working with no time for the child. The child either grows up from a broken home or a home with one parent. The child is dying to be loved and get attention so they substitute the love they are not recieving from home for the love of a stranger. And it feels good. Usually they end up pregnant because the same parents were not there to educate them about STD's and safe sex. Or they end up following the example of a very young mother etc. The list goes on and on. It starts with the household though.

Yes I think this is exactly what they think. I'm 29, been married 2 years and with my husband for a total of 4 years - I don't want kids; never have and I'm not sure I ever will but it looks like that's the direction. I have never understood why women enjoy being pregnant or giving birth or enjoy gaining weight - to me there are so many more cons then pros.

I have several opinions on this topic. I think some girls are not properly informed about contraceptives and/or don't use any b/c their male partners prefers it that way. Other girls feeling lonely and unloved and think having a child will fix all of this. A few girls actually believe that having a baby ensures that the guy will stick around.

you don,t but still a babies is not a solution it,s a problem when you are young,sex should be the last thing,but it,s what
everyone do but your body is precious,and no one value it
now talking from experience having sex should be for your
husband plain and simple,it took me as adult to realize that
and woman don,t teach their children that husband are waiting for because no one really believe in that no more
it,s ok to shack up with guy,without marriage,of love to another everyone gotten comfortable,and then the father are
not doing their jobs at being a role model for their daughter
the first man the girl love is their dad.

i think it is the fact that they are bored.. so they think that having a baby will make them not bored.. of course none of these girls no how hard it is to raise a child, and usually end up being not very good mothers.. No offence to anyone out there..

no, i think that sometimes accidents happen
by the way, you know that like in old times, girls were having babies at like 14. we get our periods early, for a reason.
If you're so worried abot it, make extra sure to use a condom AND birth control. I was on the pill but ended up with TWINS! yeah, so watch yourself.

They think it makes them grown and they like that feeling. I had friends like that in highschool. They never thought about the hard work it takes. Now I'm 24 years old and I'm still not ready for kids!! I'm still enjoying my life as it is. And those same girls tend to get jealous sometimes cuz they can't up and go about their business like I can.

I think many times they are lacking something in their life. Maybe not feeling loved and they think a baby is going to solve their problems.
