Please be more specific. How long does who think you'll take to accomplish what? To pick up the child?? How far is the school from where you will be leaving? This is too vague .. you need to put more details into this question in order for us to give a better answer.

Please tell me, ¿It´s your child, right? ¿You´re not about to go kidnap somebody, are you? Because I can not give advice on that. However, assuming that it is ¨your´ kid, I would say give yourself about 30 minutes. Walk to the door of the school, 1 minute. Take an eagle eye view of your child´s surroundings, another minute. Walking in, getting your kid, asking him how he´s doing, then talk to his teacher for a minute, and gently encourage him to do his homework, & begin walking out of the building with him, saying bye to everybody; PRICELESS. It shouldn´t take too long. Good luck.

Not more than a few seconds. Squat down, take a firm grip (remember to keep your back straight), raise small person and hold for three seconds then lower carefully.

All depends on how far away the school is from where you are and the traffic to get there. Really couldn't tell you.
