Move to a different state where no one knows you. Make new friends and don't make the same mistakes from your past.

That's a brilliant question for which I wish I had an answer. Short of a witness protection program, is there actually a way to start life over again with a new identity?! And even if you created a new identity, I'd take a strong person to not bring along the emotional baggage from your past life. I hope you find a way to reach your objective and share it with the rest of us. Good Luck

Well, to me, I'm not knocking you, or flaming, or
judging, but I think a lot of people are already
doing that. The people who are trying or tried
very hard do all the right (what they considered
to be anyway)things in their life, a lot of those come home
and they have an old car, little money. Some
are lonely, and they need some things that
they can't have realistically. Okay, not in
retaliation, but as a different kind of fish
from the older school of people who use
money, you see that you can because of a
modern system that allows you to run up your
credit thousands of dollars and then have
all that wiped away, start out fresh. I think
that's all I'll say, because I'm old school.

Why would you want a new identity? Whatever trials and struggles you have been through have made you who you are. We all need changes sometimes, a new social scene, career or look can make all the differernce but you can lose yourself by cutting off your past completly. We need reminders of who we are to... see how far we have come, remind us of who we want to be and who we don't want to be. Start small and start doing things that will make you more confidant. You want the new people you meet to see someone happy with the place they are at in life. Change your mindset, start running towards something and not away!

you can't run from your past it always follows you no matter who you become or where you go.. if you do move change your identity your past will come back eventually and bite you on the butt. so i would advise starting life anew with yourself as who you are . everybody has baggage from the past. just put it to rest and start all over now.never to late to wake up and take a new direction with your life as it is no hiding, or running away..

go to your church profess your undying love for God. ask him for his forgiveness. He will forgive anything that you may have done.

tell him you want to live in his word for ever and he will help you through your turmoil.

even if you legally change your name you will still be who you are. Your past goes with you.

You need to fix who you are. It may seem like there is no hope but you will see that if you give it time it will work out for the best.
