Are there any warning lights on? How is the fuel pump and the wires to it? How is the battery and alternator, does it charge properly? Are the spark plug wires arching? How about the ignition coil?

Once it dies you then need to check for fuel and spark to see which one of them is kicking out.
If it is carburated you should be able to see the fuel by looking down the throat of the carb (with engine stopped-off) and pressing the accelerator arm as it should have a slight injection of fuel.
Check it at home first to be sure it has an accelerator pump on the carb, that is what injects a small amount (extra) of fuel when you first press the gas pedal
Spark can be tested for by bringing along a spare spark plug, pulling one wire off when it stalls and using that spare plug grounded to the metal to see if the spark has died.
Proceed according to what you learn

If you mean it starts and runs, then will go for about 10 minutes, then I have a question. Do you live in a cold climate, or has it been below freezing?
Maybe you have water in the fuel tank, which will freeze in the line on the way to the engine.

I would check and see if your losing the ignition spark. You can easily hook up a spark tester to see if that's the case. You simply connect the alligator clip to a ground point on the top of the engine and hook one of the spark plug wires to it. Then crank the engine to see if you see a bluish spark across the tester gap.

All I can think is Alternator isn't charging properly...
Wild wild guess would be some sort of theft prevention on it that is not disengaging and shutting it down.
Sorry not much help.
