How did Alexander handle it? How did Cesar handle it? How did Attila handle it? How did Charlemagne handle it? How did Leo XIII handle it? How did William of Orange Handle it? How did Henry VIII handle it? How did Elizabeth I handle it? How did Napoleon handle it? How did Wilson, Kaiser Wilhelm, Clemenceau, Orlando handle it? This is a totally unfair compairison. Sure, the ravages of war are terrible, and no child should have to go through it. However, you act as though Iraq was one big wonderland to live in BEFORE we ousted Saddam. There were no schools for children, terrible healthcare, not to mention Saddam's cronies would and could seize anyone at anytime and torture them...maybe you should look that up. I am sick and tired of everyone turning a blind eye to the holy hell that Saddam unleased on his own people, the poisionings, the torture. WE are the good guys, even if you don't support the war, look at the humanitarian efforts we are putting in over there. schools, hospitals, infrastructures...these are all wonderful things for Iraqi citizens and their children. People are begging us to go into Darfor and help them, which I support because Americans are the GOOD GUYS and we always have to do something in the face of evil when no one else will do anything. However, we are also helping the Iraqi citizens
recover from someone who was just as brutal...but everyone has such a bias against Bush that they REFUSE TO LOOK AT ANY GOOD that is going on over there. Shame on you.

You forgot to ask what LBJ, that great liberal godfather, did. He killed 10 times as many, on both sides. His 20 something daughters had lavish white house weddings. One, the week before my brother was maimed in Vietnam. They never went to war. But I guess that is okay, he was a democrat. And Democrats are historically and memory challenged. Oh yes, Harry Truman's daughter missed out on Korea, she was performing at Carnegie Hall.

i like those rhetorical questions. First, our military is all-volunteer. If the troops have issues of the potential of going to Iraq, they might seek for a discharge on "conscientious objections". 2d, Bush did no longer obtain extra votes than Gore in 2000. He grow to be put in place of work by utilising the ideally suited courtroom who shot down a Florida recount. I, for one, did no longer vote for Bush, and in no way have voted for a Bush. yet, i'm going to shelter our troops and the pastime they do everywhere they serve. They serve their us of a unselfishly and with honor. As for Blair, his baby is slightly one, isn't it? As for the conflict, that's as much as the Iraqi government to safeguard their very own affairs, end the sectarian violence between Islamic sects, and to make certain their very own military and police rigidity. the U. S. needs to get out. doing away with Saddam, his cronies has been achieved, no WMD have been got here across, no 9-11 conspiracy grow to be got here across. Our pastime is complete. Time to return domicile.

Even Prince Harry is going off to war as a tank commander. While the Bush twins just get tanked.

I understand your position on this. The war was wrong and a bad policy. However the violence is Iraqi on Iraqi. I know we should pull out. The ongoing violence is a civil conflict.

There's no problem going on over there that having Angelina and Brad adopt all the children wouldn't cure.

HHHMMMM wonder how you would feel if you were forced to give up your wife or daughter to a dictator who will ravish them and then kill them and you too if you don't let him have them. See you are comparing apple's to oranges' it was not a free society before us that we enjoy here and if we leave right now it will return.
