Hope this isn't TMI. During my monthly time I don't eat very good at all. I tend to have some sort of Oreo meltdown. Is it a problem if I eat like this during that time. All the other days I am a VERY healthy eater... just not around that time. Can that cause a problem?

No, it's normal to want comfort food during that icky icky time. I say as long as your being conscious the rest of the time go for it. If you still feel guilty about it, one thing that Dr's tell women is to workout during their menses (makes it less pain full apparently and releases good feel chemicals in the brain) so by working out you can feel better about the wonderful wonderful OREOs!

Well, during our monthlies, we tend to feel "bloated"; hence, our appetite for food (and for other activities too) seem to be abnormal. If you are otherwise healthy, then you're okay. It's just one of those things we have to live with, as women! Aren't we great?

Wrong category, but I would say you should eat anything you want during that time. It's only a few days a month so give your body what it needs...chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate! Not sure why, but there is a reason why we crave it!

I don't think is a problem..you say you eat healthy the rest of the days...just work out a little more.

i wouldn't think so if you eat healthy all other times. You just have a really bad craving. I crave ice cream at that time.

your normal,it's different for each women, some want to eat more, some have cravings, but like you,I dont want to eat, because I dont feel good, cramping and all,and I'm more sluggish. Dont worry, those few days of not eating great isnt going to hurt you.
