i have never understood why Americans are so political when they do not all have a say / vote
i am also a bit lost on why it is government polices to not have equal rights for every person gay straight male or female transgender black white or what ever
but instead they seem to be stuck in the religions and yet will not move on for the grater population, the way religions used to control governments should be in the past governments should take back there countries for the greater good of the community and not be dictated to by any other groups that are only interested by one thing and that is brain washing society in to never moving forwards

If you are gay you are not only treated badly by liberals you are discriminated against. They preach about what they do to help gay people but alway vote against it so that rights are never given. They blame the conservatives but it takes many votes from both liberals and conservatives to get things done. Liberals and democrats are just as two faced when it come time to actually stand up and be counted. They say one thing and do another more than any other classification of people on this Earth.

seems like there are an equal number of both liberals and conservatives that cannot find themselves being accepting of all people. If they like gays, they hate hispanics. If they like hispanics, they hate blacks, if they like black they hate old people etc....Bigots come in all colors shapes and political arenas. There are a lot of liberals that talk the talk but when they can stick it in someones back and get away with it, they show their true colors. If all liberals practice what they preach, there would be no discrimination allowed against anyone.

If someone claiming to be a liberal discriminates against a gay person, they are not a real liberal. that goes against any liberal value ive ever heard of.

Definitely... While almost all gays are democrats, not nearly all democrats are 100% friendly to the LGBT community. Most are, but there are some full fledged homophobes who otherwise identify with democratic and liberal thinking. Still, overall, most liberals are far more open minded.

all the time. when i first came out (i'm bi), a ton of liberals in my school h8ed me without even getting to kno me. yeah, i still get occasional stares from people when i walk with another gurl or something, but other than that, don't let it bother u. it's just them getting over their own insecurity.

i am liberal but not a lesb so i have not encountered that problem.a liberal in politics need not be a liberal incase of gays and have conservative approach towards them.
