Taken out of your head is an idiom meaning that if you were thinking something, but didnt say it out loud and then another person said what you were thinking. It was taken out of your head. You were the first one to think of that. Get it?????

it's what you say when someone else says something you were thinking of but they go and say it first which is usually very annoying! especially on yahoo! answers when you have spent 10 minutes composing a highly articulate and detailed response and by the time you have submitted it, 6 other people have all come with a better answer in the meantime!!

"you took the thoughts right out of my head!"
"she took the words right out of my mouth!"
