Toilet Bowl water level ???

Question

I have a problem with the level of water in my toilet bowl,ever since I put a new flapper on, there is only a small amount of water in the bowl after flush. If I press on the handle gently, it allows more water to fill the bowl. Any ideas?

when you put everything back together -
did you remember to put that little tube in the top of that cylinder - it throws a little water down the pipe - which fills
the bowl - and makes sure you're up to level
