Yes, because I've had people spell and say my last name wrong about 5 to 6 different ways and it is so simple

I have an unusual name and it is mis-pronounced and spelled wrong all the time. Don't give up who you are. That is part of the perils of life and separates you from another person. Be proud of it.

it doesnt bother me, and NOBODY spells my name right. But I gave my kids different names too, and so far they dont care about the spelling. My daughter just doesnt like that I gave her a name that is a word, not a "real" name.

Yes, I collect misspellings of my last name. I got some doozies. Usually when people ask my last name I just say, "i'll spell it for you." They still get it wrong.

People who don't speak French do tend to say my name wrong. I love my name, when it's pronounced right.
Solange (the closest I can describe it is Soe-lonj, don't emphasize the "n")

Whenever I have to give my last name, I automatically spell it for them... and they STILL spell it wrong. Go figure.
