Yes, that sounds like Colostrum to me, and No it is not too early to be leaking, with my first child I was able to squeeze a little bit out of my breast at around 25 weeks. You won't neccesarily go in to labor earlier than expected, it just may mean that you will not have a hard time with your milk! Good Luck.

I started leaking that at about 5 month's pregnant with my first and had my son about 4 days after my estimated due date. But, my boobs leaked like CRAZY while I was in labour. I managed to drench gown after gown and of course they won't let you wear a bra to hold nursing pads in place, so you just sorta deal with it and keep getting fresh gowns.
I also suggest going and getting a breast pump now. The nurses said my early leaking and leaking in labour would mean a good milk supply and BOY were they ever right. When my milk came it hurt SO BAD and my boobs got rock hard. And I was running around the city desperately looking for one and of course they seemed to be sold out everywhere.
Go get a breast pump now!!!! When your milk comes in and you get engorged, even if you don't want to keep the milk for later, you'll still want to relieve the pressure and "take a bit off the top" as it were.

I started leaking colostrum at 18 weeks with my last pregnancy. Its normal. Some women don't ever leak and some do. Best of luck.

You can leak colostrum as early as ten weeks and it will not change your due date. I am 20 weeks along and asked my doctor about it at my 17 week appointment. I have been having the same thing happen to me since week 14. She said as long as it isnt filled with blood ... its totally normal

It's most likely colostrum. It's not too early. It's pretty normal. Just don't squeeze it out or try to "prepare" your breasts for nursing. It doesn't do you any good. I don't think it's going to affect your due date. If you have painful swelling, breasts hot to the touch or redness, you may have an infected duct (although this isn't too likely). If that happens, make a quick appointment with the doc. Good luck!

Totally normal.
Means absolutely nothing about when you'll give birth.
Some women leak colostrum from very early on. I always got mine right at the start of the third trimester. (And all my babies were full term.) Some women never leak. ALL of these possibilities are normal and ALL of these moms can nurse successfully postpartum.

ive been leaking it since i was 24 weeks quite heavily, it is colostrum my midwife told me not to try squeezing it out with my hands or try to express it with a breast pump just to leave it alone and to avoid nipple stimulation
i was quite worried too as my midwife said it can mean il go into early labor but i put a question on here and a woman explained to me that although most pre term babies had mothers whose breasts leaked early, less than 50% of women who leak will have a preterm baby its all to do with hormones
try not to worry you see the amount of women on here who leaked and didnt have any problems try not to worry

It's normal and doesn't necessarily indicate that you'll deliver early. I started getting it when I was around 20 weeks. My daughter was only 6 days early. My friend got it around 20 weeks and when she went in for her C-section on her due date, she wasn't dialated at all.

totally normal, consider yourself lucky to be getting it this late. with both my pregnancies I stated leaking like 5/6 months. i hate it. And no it has no barrier whatso - ever on labor and going early. so women experience others do not, it is just your body preparing for when your child is born.
