No of course not!!! I had started my first period on January 2,2006 and i didn't have mine again until...... like June!!!!
I was concerned to but i told the doctor on my check up and she said that its normal for that to happen because your body is trying to regulate itself so that it will be ready in the future. I would enjoy the few months without it while you can! If you're really concerned you should check with a doctor.
hope this helps!!!

It's perfectly normal. When girls start their period it is normal to skip several periods or to have two or three in the same month. It will take about a year to become regular.
The exceptions you need to see a doctor are:
1. You are pregnant (had sex)
2. You are anemic (are on a very strict diet)
3. You are dehidrated (don't drink enough water)
4. You are a high preformance athlete (do a lot of excercice like for a marathon)

Don't worry about the pregnancy thing so much, that can really stress a girl out! I'm guessing that since it's your first period, you're fairly young. It's fine! When i first started having mine, I had it like two or 3 times a year, and only for about 2 days. It's totally normal for young girls to have abnormal periods. If it persists, however, you may need to be put on birth control to help regulate it. For now, though, I'm sure you're fine!

A Dr would be the best source of info on this question. Ask your mom to make an appt with a gynecologist for you and have her come with if you are scared to go back alone.

No nothing is wrong at all. It is common for periods to be sporadic when you first start menstruating. If you are really concerned though go and see your doctor or school nurse if you have one.

No, honey-everything's fine! I got my first period in October 2005 and I haven't gotten it since. It's normal to be worried-I know I was-but just remember, it's normal.
