I'm wanting to write a story about a retired police detective remembering the serial killer that made his career. I want the serial killer to have a cool nickname like The Zodiac Killer, Son of Sam, Jack The Ripper, The Nightstalker, etc. I can't think of anything cool yet so your help would be much appreciated.

I'm think that the serial killer will kill mainly at night. His weapon of choice will 9 times out of 10 be a knife.

first think of what this killer would do to his victims. Would he shoot them? stab them? try making a name from that. for example this killer shoots people at night he could be the midnight bullet or something like that. try to piece a name from the characteristics of your killer.
