Start with the information you know - like who was in it, or what year, anything you know from the title... Type that information in a search engine (I prefer google) with movie in the search as well and see what comes up. That's a good starting point.

Try IMDB.com and look it up by title, by an actor, actress, director, lighting crew member etc.
