It has been documented many times in the past 3 years that all the money he makes from his stocks, after taxes is donated to charity. ALL of it, how much are you liberals donating? I bet all of you together give less than half of what Cheney gives.

Actually, I didn't know Cheney was making any money off the war in Iraq.

Ive yet to see anyone show where, how or how much is supposedly is making.

Usually they say he secretly owns Halliburton stock, but they never offer proof.

.
Before the libs start screaming too loud, yes Cheney does own stock options from Halliburton, but untill he cash's them in, he hasn't made any money off of them.

Really, how come we've heard nothing about this. Fox News hasn't mentioned it once. If this was true Fox News would announce it at the beginning and end of each show. Let's see credible link. THIS IS A LIE PEOPLE.

Explain this then: Cheney has been having an affair with George Bush. It's been well documented over the past 3 years. Cheney and Bush are homos. Can you believe this?? Your leader is a donut puncher!!

I would like to believe that, but do you have a link? Nevermind, I found the link myself.

The Cheneys gave more than three-quarters of their income - $6,869,655 - to several charities, including George Washington University's Cardiothoracic Institute and a charity for low-income high school students in the Washington, D.C. area, Capital Partners for Education.

The Cheneys' charitable generosity stands in marked contrast to that of their predecessors, whose sometimes stingy donations became a national embarrassment.

In 1997 for instance, Al and Tipper Gore contributed just $353 to charity, a sum that raised eyebrows even in friendly media circles.

The Los Angeles Times noted, for instance, that the Gores' slender donation "caused some bewilderment in philanthropic circles because of the vice president's 'good guy' image as an advocate for public service and social causes."

The same year the Gores gave $353 to charity, they reported $197,729 in adjusted gross income.

Believe what you what to think.

I believe Cheney is systematically Draining our Treasury by giving open-ended contracts to companies like his own Halaburton and pulled the Strings of this Puppet President to attempt to gain control of Iraq's Oil for the Big Oil companies. Cheney and Rove are evil to the core and have convinced many that our service people are defending our country as they die for Oil In Iraq.

So... is this a question or just an opportunity to try and insult a bunch of people you don't know? Even if it's true that he donates "all of the money he makes from his stocks," which I don't believe for a second, you are still getting a huge tax break on charitable donations, so it still translates into more $ in your pocket. I know this because I do give to charilty regularly, and I keep those reciepts for when I do my taxes every year.

If you're so thrilled with a man who shot his friend in the face because he was hunting drunk, and then circumvented the law by telling the cops "come back tomorrow," that's great for you. Of course, any one of us, liberal or not, would have been in jail pending an investigation, but whatever. I'm glad that you're happy with your choice of role model. Mosseltov to you both.

Wow, that's extremely generous because its a LOT. I'd like to shake his hand, right after I verify those many documentations. Does that also count all the money he made off the Bird Flu scare, selling the government 8 billion dollars of Tamiflu? Whatever happened to the Bird Flu anyway?

There are good reasons to debate the war in Iraq, but Cheney's finances are not one of them.

People waste time over this and make themselves look foolish, destroying their credibility - rather than discussing REAL issues.

It's counterproductive!

Cheney is not making anything off the Iraq war. He left Halliburton more than eight years ago. He makes income off his salary and his savings (yes, in stocks, partnerships, and investments).

I am no liberal, but 10% of my net pay goes to the church.

Good link, jhl!

Wonder how much JOHN EDWARDS makes and what he gives to charity?

It has been documented many times that the money I make from my Superhero crimefighting is donated to the World Wildlife Fund. I have no link for this, so it probably sounds like I am extracting it from my keister, but just pretend it's true.

The question is what kind of "charity" the money Cheney is making goes to, and how he benefits from it.
