I'm assuming you live in a warm climate where lizards are frequent.

Lizards are usually good to have around as they eat insects and keep your place bug free.

If you really don't want wild lizards I suggest you contact a pest control company (I have no idea what you expect peacock feathers and egg shells to do)

Moth balls along the edge of walkways and along dirveways etc. will keep pretty much anything except insects away. without the lizards your insect population will grow and you will have to deal with them later. also you will have to replace the mothballs every other rain as they dissolve. they also tend to leave dead spots of grass under them because the ammonia is strongest there. its the smell that keeps them away. and will not harm the lizards or other animals. after about 2 good rains the moth balls will dissolve into the ground. the smell is very offensive to dogs cats humans etc.

You can try to put moth balls out. I know that snakes don't like them. But, think about all of the unwanted insects that lizards keep away. Mosquitoes are one. They bite and carry disease, lizards will run from you and don't bite. They are as afraid of you as you are them.

1. Home lizards are supposed to bring good luck, you should let them be, they won't hurt you. Plus they eat harmful bugs.
2. If you really want them gone, get a cat. Best way to get rid of any pests.
