What's wrong with my HTML code?

I'm trying to create some blinkies for my webpage but I can't get them to work correctly, I'd like them to line up under one another on both sides, but they are only lining up under one side. Can anyone help me?

What you have right there is a series of links, one on top of the other. If you're trying to insert images, you'd need to use the tag. is the tag for creating a hyperlink.

To get them all in a row, don't use a
tag inbetween them either.
is the tag that causes a new line to be created.
