I know her music is sometimes boring but it's really nice for relaxing purposes.... I love her but some people call her Snorah... I think it's funny but it's unfair....

well, being the daughter of ravi shankar automatically gets her my respect....and the rest of the industry's, too. i'm a jazz musician and i have great respect for her simply because she traces her roots to good artists....people with deep talent and skills. i heard her play a duke ellington tune and it was so delicately phrased. (not spectacular, but really good)
for a pop star, she's definitely deeper than most. - although i think she's got a bit of an exaggerated reputation in the public eye as far as 'talent' goes. (that's a stupid word)....but with songs like 'fergalicious' ruling the hot 100, it's a welcome change!
her songwriting DOES get really, really boring after a while, though. i find that she sings pretty much the same and phrases the same for every tune. i like the music, but i can't listen to a whole CD the way i could other artists.

Great voice. I agree about the relaxing part. I would generally only listen when I'm relaxing on the couch on a Sunday afternoon.
It's interesting that the music makes me tired but I don't get tired of it.

She is pretty good, but not someone you want to listen to on a road trip, you might fall asleep behind the wheel. But no doubt she is a good singer, and not bad to look at either.

I find her singing to be very soothing. She has a really great voice. It does make me sleepy, but I don't think that's because its boring. I'm definitely going to buy her new CD.

I personally can take her or leave her. I have to say, though, she has more talent than all of today's Top 10 artists put together!
