Go back to school. Your subject is too broad and no one here will be able to answer propertly. What about database management is that you are having trouble with?

Go to the vendor of your database and look for solutions to your problem in the documentation.

I might be able to if you gave me something to go on. What is the db you are using? What is your problem. I use Oracle and have some experience in sybase and ingres.
