It does it with both internet explorer and firefox the computer seems to be blocking everything except the big commercial sites even when everything is disabled on the machine. If anyone has any idea please let me know. Thanks

We've set all settings to nothing shut off the fire wall and everything av phishing filter everything I can find i have changed all the security settings that I can find and it still is blocking it.

Are you on dial up or broadband. IE caches images so it appears to be loading the image. When you go to a new site the images aren't there and therefore have to be downloaded. Not sure if this is the actual issue but a place to start.

Have you tried lowering your parental control thing? Its in the user account section of the control panel. Thats something i had to do with my system in order to get it to go to a small named site. Good Luck
