I think I lost my mucus plug on saturday and some on sunday. It was just clear and it looked like snot. It was not bloody or anything so I was wondering if that was the same thing as the mucus plug and does that mean that I'm close to having my baby? I haven't had any contractions that I know of and I get checked on Friday but I was just going to see what everybody thought!! Thank You for your answers, I'm just really excited about meeting my baby girl!!!

Generally the mucas plug is a little bloody, It is possible that you did lose it though. You don't alway go into labor when you lose it. I lost mine 3 weeks before I actually went into labor.

It could be your mucus plug. Some women have mucus that is more yellowish and not bloody at all. That is how mine was. But it also could have been thicker discharge. My doctor says it's normal for your discharge to get thick and "mucusy" towards the end of your pregnancy. Either way, you may still have a few weeks. Just wait for contractions to start--they're the only sure thing that will tell you you're going into labor. Good luck!!!
