Civilian contractors are a necessity.
A lot of them are former military and many provide security detail.

Do you understand that our VP owns the company that is giving all the services in the war zones? Do you know that they do cooking, laundry, gas supply, etc... at a tune of 500 million a day. That our VP got a billion dollar bonus from his company for all this work they are doing for a profit. That all the contracts they get are given to them with out bid, which is against the law.
Yet why is congress allowing this? Why are We the People allowing this.

For the first 200 years our military was stand alone in other words we did our own cooking, maintenance, security transportation etc. now we relied on others to do it. it's a big pay day for the contractors. and even more inefficient and costly. unless your Dick Cheney.
