It's scam, period .You didn’t enter a lottery, and YAHOO/Microsoft/WHOEVER isn’t running a lottery. All you are going to win is an empty bank account and more trouble than you ever dreamed of. If you want to bother, forward the fraudulent email to phishing@cc.yahoo-inc.com, spam@uce.gov, and 419.fcd@usss.treas.gov.

All scams. It happens when you have provided someone with your email address or home address and then that address is put on a list. The list is bought by all sorts of people for next to nothing. They send out these bogus letters and emails trying to get you to send money then you will never hear from them again. Either block them as spam or toss the letters out. Never send money.

If you are receiving these "offers" in your email, I can tell you that they are FALSE. These are spam messages. DO NOT respond, and NEVER send money, or your personal information. NEVER. It could not only be very costly for you, because they are thieves, but it could be dangerous to you.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

In most (if not all) situations, those emails are fraudulent.

There are hundreds of different frauds and scams floating around the internet, with more every month.
