ok i just feel like i am pregnant and i have some symptoms that i dont normally have when i get my period (which is due tomorrow) i have taken 4 tests so far the first was negative and the other 3 have faint lines the first i am not sure when the line showed up because i did not think the test was working and left after 2 minutes then i came back later on and there was a faint but noticable line and i was not going to consider it a positive so i decided it was probably an evap line it was with a cvs brand and then i took another and there is also a faint line on that but it is hard to see and the last test i took was a first response and i am embarrased to say i was not looking at it in good lighting when i was trying to read it i took that one at like 11:30 last night and when i looked this morning it also had a fiant line i do plan on waiting until a day or so after i miss my period to test ine last time myself before seeing a doctor but do you think they are positive or evap lines?

I would say the possibility of being pregnant is there if the other positives were read within the time limit. I would wait and take a test about 3 days after your missed period as well or just go to the doctor and get a blood test. Depending on when you took the test (as it sounds like you took them fairly early) you could just not have enough hcg in your system. If you go to the doctor and get a blood test, you are more likely to get a correct result. I've tried to conceive for 6 years. There were times that I read the results after the time and was excited there was a line only to realize that pink or blue line wasn't a true positive. Evap lines are not always a different color and can be pink or blue. I took so many and then started reading them within three minutes. The only times for false positives occuring is if a test wasn't read within the 5-10 minute time frame, or if you have had a very early miscarriage, or you are receiving hcg containing fertility treatments. However, this does not mean you could not be pregnant, only that those test should not be read as positive. If any positive test was read on time you could def. be pregnant. It may save some guess work if you get the digital pregnancy test as there are no lines to read and it tells you pregnant/not pregnant right away. I hope this helps.

You have to read the test within the time limit, usually 5-10 minutes, otherwise you can't take the results as accurate. Evaporation lines appear if you leave the test and go back to read it later, outside the time limit. So take another test and WAIT by it until you see the result. Don't walk away and go back later. If you get a faint line within the time limit, then that is a positive. Any line in the results window read within the time limit is considered a positive. Good luck.

those at the prompt are not evaporation strains... real evaporation strains do not have any color and in case you will discover them in any respect that's in undemanding words below particular vivid light fixtures. human beings are speedy to call any faint line evaporation yet i visit allow you to know I actually have taken a MANY a being pregnant exams all diverse manufacturers all my negatives stayed unfavourable... and each of the positives effective. not in any respect once did a unfavourable attempt get a faint effective line after 10 minutes or maybe 12 hours. CONGRATS!

The faint lines usually should be taken as a positive. I would call an OB to see about a blood test to check for sure.
