I would recomend allowing group dates once high school begins and then private dates starting 16. Being in high school and not being allowed to date is not only hard socially, but will cause the child to sneak around. At least let them do group dates, or bring the date around the family so that you keep an open relationship with them.

For some people - Never.
For others High School is kinda good however I think its better just to have fun in groups of kids and not be tied down to one person in your teens either till after College or after High School (if you dont go to college).

it really depends on the person if there mature enough and really like someone then let then get a shot at it but group dates first like everyone else said. then if everything goes fine after a few group dates let them go on their own
